During the 2025 Lowry City Spring Fair on Saturday, May 10, St. Clair County Sheirff Lee Hitly, in uniform, was one of several that participants took aim at in the dunk tank provided by the Lowry City Volunteer Fire Department’s Women’s Auxiliary. The activity was a fundraiser and was one of several throughout the day during the fair by numerous groups, committees, and clubs. Full coverage of the spring fair can be seen in May editions of the St. Clair County Courier.
