Michael Wayne Ward was born September 25, 1973, in Butler, MO to Charles and June Ward. He grew up in DeSoto, KS and graduated from Osceola High School in 1992. Mikey passed away peacefully in his Overland Park, KS home on October 2, 2025.
Despite the obstacles he was faced with in life, he continuously overcame.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Howard (Ward). Survivors are brothers Ricky (Karen) Ward and James Howard, nine nieces and nephews, and family spanning across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and beyond.
He was laid to rest in De Soto Cemetery.
