Jackie Lee Brollier, 70, Appleton City, MO, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 3, 2026.
Jackie was born on Jan. 1, 1956 in Kansas City, MO, and was raised in Lee’s Summit. Following graduation from Lee’s Summit High School in 1974 he went into the military, proudly serving his country in the Vietnam War.
He married the love of his life, Roxanna Reynolds on July 15, 2002. When he married Roxanna, he gained 5 bonus children whom he loved as his own.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie Lee Brollier, Sr. and Patricia Ruth (Maisch) Brollier; brother, James Brollier; son, Jackie Lee Brollier III; and his beloved poodle, Tia Maria.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanna of Appleton City; sister, Jaylene Brollier; daughter, Jamie Brollier; his bonus children, Debra, David, Andy, Christopher, and Kellie; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who adored him; and his beloved poodle, Curley, who was by his side until the end.
Jackie will be remembered for his service to his country, his big heart, and his deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service was held at 1 PM Oct. 14, 2026 at Hill & Son Funeral Home, Appleton City, MO . Visitation preceded the service from 12 – 1 P.M. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clinton Animal Shelter and may be left at Hill & Son.
